Staff Profiles

David J. Keil, EA

David Keil is a graduate of San Diego State University where he majored in Communication. He is an Eagle Scout and has worked for various prestigious companies as The Walt Disney Company, SeaWorld San Diego, Marriott Hotels & Resorts, and is a former Senior District Executive with the Boy Scouts of America. After transitioning into work as a financial service representative for a major credit union, he made the decision to become a tax professional. Joining his father’s firm and following in his footsteps, David became an Enrolled Agent in 2015. He has served as an active board member of the Orange County Chapter of the California Society of Tax Consultants and was elected to serve as Chapter President in 2020. He enjoys giving back by volunteering with Boy Scout Troop 850 in Villa Park and serves as coordinator for their annual leadership training weekend. He and his wife, Amber, reside in the city of Orange.

Sylvia Q. Guzman, CRTP

Sylvia Guzman went to Fullerton College where she received a Legal Administrative Assistant Certification. She has an extensive professional background of 30 years within the Automobile Finance Industry before she moved to Home Loan Origination. Sylvia is a former Real Estate Agent with an active California Real Estate License since 2005. She has served as an office manager tackling numerous challenges, and in 2022 became a California Registered Tax Preparer. She is an active member of the California Society of Tax Consultants Orange County Chapter. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family. Her husband, children and grandchildren reside in the City of Anaheim.

In Memory of Our Beloved Founder

John C. Keil, EA

John Keil attended California State University Fullerton where he majored in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance and Economics. He was a former major bank Vice-President who, after 29 years, reinvented himself as a tax professional. He became an Enrolled Agent in 2001 and specialized in small business and individual taxation, as well as trusts and estates. John served as President of the Orange County Chapter of the California Society of Tax Consultants and dedicated time as an instructor for educational seminars for many years. He and his wife, Sandra, resided in the city of Orange for over 40 years before his passing in May of 2022.
